50 Things That Changed My Mind.

There are a bunch of lessons I’ve learned over the last decade that I wish I’d known at the start, so I’ve decided to commit to getting them all down and out there in 2022.

Subscribe to 50 Things here!

I don’t really do New Year’s resolutions, but this year I’m going to try something new.

Capture and share 50 Things I wish I’d known before I started out a decade ago.

I’ve tried to follow a couple of rules:

  • Never overstay, be succinct and to the point
  • Counterintuitive, where possible
  • Stick to implementable lessons
  • Relevant beyond our industry, when they are industry specific I’ve tried to apply a wider viewpoint

I’ve picked 50 themes that broadly apply to decision making and mindset. There will be bursts from time to time which are either linked to a season or a collection of posts which are related, mainly around some of the bigger systems change theories.

Many of the lessons have come from: lived experience starting, running and being on the board of a bunch of companies; accelerators/programmes I have participated in, such as UnLtd Future Pioneers, Power to Change’s Platform, or Y Combinator Startup School; books/podcasts/blogs which I’ve consumed and then tried to apply in my own way; and tools and methodologies I’ve learned, practised, and implemented.

Each thing will go live on Sunday morning and hit your inbox free of charge if you subscribe below.

I hope there’s some value in putting these down. I’d love to hear your perspectives on the topics, Twitter is the best place to find me: @GarethTSq
